Brazilian Stars Fernanda Arraes and Humberto Martins in Let Me Live, Premiering in Trancoso, Brazil
Fernanda Arraes and Humberto Martins share emotionally charged scenes in Deixe-me Viver (Let Me Live), which will hold its Brazilian premiere on October 31 in Trancoso, Bahia. In the film, the actors portray a couple, with Fernanda playing Eleonora, a woman who faces a difficult childbirth in a sequence defined by emotional intensity and sensitivity.

The production features a distinguished cast, including Mônica Carvalho, Humberto Martins, Fernanda Arraes, Roberta Rodrigues, Cat Dantas, Laura Proença, and Daniela Albuquerque, each bringing a different character to the story.
For Fernanda, the scene marked a significant moment in her acting career, requiring extensive preparation to capture the emotional depth of her character.
“It was a defining scene in my career. I needed intense concentration, study, and preparation, as well as emotional memory work to access the feelings Eleonora needed to convey. It was a process of exploration and complete dedication, allowing me to give the character all the authenticity she deserved,” the actress explains.
Fernanda’s performance alongside Humberto is part of a story that has already begun winning over audiences abroad. Before reaching Brazilian audiences, the film was presented at the Marché du Film in Cannes and screened at the Brazilian Film Festival of Miami, where tickets sold out and the audience gave the film a standing ovation.
Trancoso holds special significance for the premiere, as it was in the Bahian town that the film came to life during production. The screening will bring together cast members, crew, and invited guests to celebrate the film’s arrival in Brazil following its international appearances.

Based in the United States for several years, Fernanda has built a career spanning Brazilian and American audiovisual productions. Among her credits is the American series The Bay, which has reached its sixth season in the United States.
Following the Trancoso premiere, the actress will travel to Los Angeles to attend the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival (LABRFF) on November 3, continuing her international promotional schedule.
